I've been fortunate enough to live all over the U.S., and Gardens at Cherry Creek is the *worst* apartment I have stayed at. They get away with charging an arm and a leg due to their location, which is also surrounded by truly luxury apartments -- but it's nowhere near appropriate for this complex to ride the coattails of other developments. The buildings are old, the floors are very cheap vinyl, and the walls are desperate for new paint. During my year-long lease, the pool wasn't usable, and... the gym had 80% of it's equipment broken for nearly 5 months.
To my surprise my unit wasn't cleaned before I moved in, and the blinds were broken from day 1, which I also documented in my move-in paperwork. They never offered to remedy the situation or reimburse me to hire someone to clean. I submitted several maintenance requests over the course of my lease asking to fix the blinds so I didn't have to keep using a rubber band to keep them up or down every day.
They force you to enter into their bulk account during lease signing, which states that you will receive a "tech package"; package insinuates more than one, but they will only give you internet. You still have to purchase cable separately. If you were Joe-blow walking into the cable store right now, you would be paying ~$130 TOTAL for a cable/internet bundle, depending on the cable tier.
I had moved from out of state, and I was in a rush to get settled. You will find that this is a common story of residents living here; this complex is actively looking for people who are rushing and that will gloss over details that are *really* important -- like noise from units upstairs and beside you, bursting pipes, stolen mail and belongings from the garage, broken and unusable amenities, etc.
Even after all of that, and I left the unit better than I got it.....they refused to return my security deposit. Learn from my mistake: don't rush your next move, and don't view an apartment at Gardens at Cherry Creek remotely. Be on site and ask to see the exact floor plan that you will have to avoid surprises.

The hallways smell like rotting trash, the residents smoke cigarettes and weed despite the nonsmoking rule, the garage door has been stuck open for over a month now, cars are broken into, packages are stolen, the gas grills never have propane when we've used them, we have heard numerous complaints about bikes being stolen and storage lockers be broken into, and the hanging clothes racks do not stay in wall because there are no studs in this building. We bought our own rolling clothing racks as... the racks kept falling and maintenance was very unhelpful and blamed us for the issue.
For moving out, they require at least two months notice fyi. Beware so you do not get trapped into another lease when they ask for a renewal and you have not considered it yet because you are used to the 30 day rule.
Do not live here. It is not luxury living.

I moved into this apartment 6 months ago and since I moved in half of the gym equipment has been broken with no promises of repair, the pool and hot tub are broken half the time, the bike locker has been broken into and I had $250 worth of parts stolen off my bike, the garage has been left wide open for months with no sign of additional security, and our storage unit in the garage has been broken into. I would not recommend leasing here.

We’ve lived here for 2 years and it was great until a few months ago. They took 3 months to fix our broken heat. Made us wait until someone from their company flew in from out of town at their convenience instead of bringing in a local vendor. Never acknowledged their mistake. Escalation to regional management means nothing. Major security issues and lots of theft that they don’t tell residents about. Won’t make security improvements despite multiple issues and theft events. Property is dirty... and unkept. Will spend rent money on improvements that enhance their LEED certification but not what actually improves the safety of residents. I would highly advise not living at any Connor Group buildings in the Denver area.

Brandi, Santos, Dave and the rest of the team at the Gardens are AWESOME! If you want a turn-key renting experience then come live here. The neighbors are friendly, lots of pet lovers to accommodate your furry companions, and very responsive staff that make living here so great.
