CoLab Apartments has exceeded my expectations! The modern design and amenities make it a fantastic place to live, but what really stands out is the customer service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about the residents. They helped me with everything from the application process to settling in, making the transition smooth and enjoyable. I feel truly valued as a resident here. If you’re looking for a community that combines comfort with exceptional support, I highly... recommend CoLab Apartments!

Wont let me get a key fob for my girlfriend so I'm leaving a one star review in spite (they still deserve the one star). Honestly the living isn't terrible I found in to be much better than the assembly but the management is terrible and the prices are pretty meh for what you get. We have had maintenance requests in for months and nothing they actually closed one of mine marked it as complete and never did anything which is a joke but kind of how it goes so it's not to surprising. I honestly... feel that the colab isn't to bad and some of the amenities are not to bad like the gym and the pool. I really hate the valet trash service I think it's stupid: stinks up the halls and trash is everywhere there are literally dumpsters out back and I don't see why they force us to pay for it when we could go throw it away ourselves. The halls are just disgusting throw up everywhere and just dirty but it's a college housing so what can you do. I don't mind the colab it's ok for what you get but I just don't understand why I can get a key fob for my partner when she practically lives here I understand there are rules but still it's ridiculous not to mention it's $75 for a new one. Last thing if you're unlucky and don't get a room with a window it feels like a prison cell like ya it's not terrible and the bathroom is really nice but no window is painful and the walls are practically paper thin so you here everything from party's next door to just loud roommate's but these things are not to big of a deal for me and I can deal with it. Don't understand some of the policies and why some of the management are even management when they don't know anything and always have to call or ask someone else my question like why are u even there but I digress I would not recommend living here but it could be worse. (Give me another key fob)

Unfortunately, we are unable to give fob access to anyone who does not have a signed lease agreement at CoLab. We do not allow guests to have access to the building, as every guest should be with a resident at all times. A manager will be reaching... out to you to discuss this in more detail and any other issues you would like to discuss. Thank you for your feedback.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I would give zero stars if I could.
Do not let your kids live here, if you want to be a good parent.
If you think they are fixing the problems of all the bad reviews, they are not. Colab apartments are the worst possible choice when moving to Denver. I tell everyone who visits me its a really nice apartment if you squint your eyes and plug your nose.
Since my time living here I have experienced
- lost packages due to the ill-considered mail system because if the office is... closed, mailmen cannot get packages into the mailroom and will leave them at the front door.
- maintenance taking 2 months to fix my freezer while it was unusable
- took almost half a year to fix my roommates toilet causing us to share, when we pay extra for separate bathrooms
- peephole on my door has been missing for over a year
- dismissed me for my own parking space, in place of people who got on the waiting list after me
- failed to clean vomit off the floor for over a week on several occurrences
- failed to replace exit signs and leave loose wires hanging from the ceiling
- failed to fix the hinges of the front door of the building, but "fixed" it by placing a sign to close the door, which this is unsafe due to the location we are at, and that any one can enter the building if the door is not properly shut.
And above all else, my roommate's car was stolen from the street down from the apartment since there was street paving, which the residents were never notified about, and was unable to get back into the garage. Her rental car was then towed. She was told verbatim, that she is responsible for the rental car towing fee since there was no permit sticker, even though the office was closed when she got back home with the rental car. She would then have to leave the rental car on the street which her car got stolen from originally until she received a new sticker.
If you plan on touring this apartment, ask to be taken to the 2,3, or 4th floor because they only clean the first and fifth level.
The new community manager Emily states that this place has gotten better since she took over in August, but I disagree completely as it is now an unclean and hazard living space. They are rude and dismissive when faults are brought up to them. Therefore, nothing is going to get better since they since no error on their part.

I hate going out my way to write a review, but CoLab is a uniquely terrible place to live. They mainly rent to young adults right out of high school, so expect loud parties all weekend, throw up in hallways, Dog Crap on every floor, empty beer cans everywhere, and VANDALISM. Vandalism might be the worse thing about CoLab, it was super common for people to steal and destroy property, for example the nearly all Exits signs in the building were stolen and even your room number signs were stolen too... . Oh yeah and you DO NOT even have access to dump your own trash, they have you leave it in the hallway all day until they collect it. So the entire building SMELLS TERRIBLE. And once you sign that lease THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Don’t do it, don’t move into CoLab or any Greystar properties.
I hope this helps people

You will be charged for damage regardless of who caused it. If you don't pay, it goes to collections. Just a really poorly run complex with zero accountability and response from principals.
My son, a full-time student and full-time employed worker, lived there from 2019 to 2021 while finishing school. His roommates were unknown to him on move-in and assigned by COLAB. Two of his roommates who were not students and unemployed decided to get a puppy shortly after they moved in. They... didn't notify my son they were getting a dog. The dog wrecked some furniture and the two dog owners and dog soon left the apartment never to return. My son notified COLAB management of the issue of damaged furniture and the vacated roommates and dog. Management advised that they couldn't replace any furniture until move out date, but to "rest assured that the owners of the dog would be charged for any damage". This is all documented in emails with management.
My son graduates and moves out in August of 2021. Shortly after move out, he gets a bill for damaged furniture! Yep, can't make this up. Even after presenting past emails with management concerning this issue and their assurance that only the owners of the animal would face charges. My son, rightly so disputes the charges and then COLAB being COLAB ignores all inquires and sends it to collections.
Be prepared to swim upstream with an incompetent group of facility management and tone deaf collections company if you have any disputes.
You are taking your chances here and I don't recommend COLAB apartments. IF you do, document everything with photos, email etc. and be prepared to be ignored.
